Signing off early tonight.
It was a VERY LONG Easter Sunday. Need to get my chill on and unwind before going to sleep.
A VERY LONG week starts in basically a couple of hours. Although, now that I think about it, almost all my weeks are long because of work, clients, personal relationships, neighbors, social media, procrastination, unexpected problems, family situations, overall state of the world, etc… But hey, that’s life.
Worked too much,
Ate too much,
Drank too much,
Didn’t sleep enough,
Didn’t rest enough,
Didn’t relax enough.
Not gonna lie; absolutely zero regrets, and would do it again if given the chance. There’s no use in complaining after having a good time. ESPECIALLY after scalloped potatoes and key lime pie (times three, it’s a celebration). That’s some universal wisdom right there.
For the moment, I say: Bring it.
Tomorrow, I’ll probably say: Back at it again with the white Vans. Fuck it up, Kevin.
In the coming days, I’ll definitely say: Fuck me, it never stops.
(Places his head down on the desk).
“Please, just no more surprises. Just a single fucking week without any surprises. That’s all I ask”.
(Immediately after publishing this post, a notification pops up. It’s a text.)
Hey, I know it’s late, but… Can you call me? It’s important.
