The pursuit of a good-night sleep

One of my biggest obtainable dreams is being able to be in bed already by 11am, falling asleep in 5-10 minutes, and waking up 8 hours later fully-recharged.

I can’t do it. It’s impossible. There is always something happening that ultimately affects me. Whereas is the AC not working to capacity, the ceiling fan making *new* noises, dog gets anxiety and doesn’t let me sleep, work that I forgot to do throughout the day or the most common one, procrastinating 20-30 minutes more than what I should’ve and then having to do everything fast before going to bed.

It’s genuinely incredible.

Right now, writing this post, I remembered I had to send 2 emails in the early evening (which I did not). That’s like 5-15 minutes of my time that wasn’t scheduled (if I’m lucky). Will definitely cut this short.

Someday, just someday, I’ll finally be able to get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep while being sober, nor feeling sick and being employed.

You may say I’m a dreamer…
