Well, we’ve been at this for months now. In the last weeks of May we’ll reach a whole year of finding new all time lows in the stock market. Calling it ‘bleeding market’ is an understatement. This is a downright massacre.

I’m having stocks reaching record profits and results every quarter, BUT THEY’RE STILL FALLING DOWN HARD. “The market is irrational”. How about that.

You do your homework, you pick stable companies with good financials, then you confirm your findings with other analysts’ articles. It’s done. Set limit buy, order place, order executed.

All that time you wasted following fundamentals, charts and reading forecasts going down the drain because ‘the market is irrational’ or simply put, leaders of the world are dropping the ball CONSTANTLY and fucking up their countries’ markets.

Of course, friends and family, inner circle, know associated all cleared out a year ago. Switching from “long term investments” to “cash is king” upon receiving a specific phone call or leaving a closed doors meeting.

Record inflation, Russia-Ukraine war, surging gas prices, recession looming, incoming food shortage… WHAT ELSE?!

Haven’t touched my ’emergency fund’ yet (money for an emergency, duh). But my savings accounts and almost 100% of my cash flow have been going to balancing my portfolio. Let me rephrase, TRYING TO BALANCE my portfolio.

I check the companies’ website, blogs and community chat rooms looking for any news or even rumors, and wouldn’t you guess. Good news all around. The crash was caused by something external. Like a fucking tweet, quote or memo from government institutions.

The phrases “Don’t try to catch a falling knife” and/or “wait for the price to bottom out before buying it” don’t mean shit if every 2 weeks, there it goes again, plummeting. ANOTHER ALL TIME LOW.

This is definitely not a good time to average down. Which is what I’ve been doing since fucking January, every 3-4 weeks.

Someone stop the bloodletting. It’s gruesome. I’m getting to the point where I’ll just delete the apps and don’t even check my positions till June.
