When it rains it pours

Get this, I’ve been basically working non-stop 2 jobs since mid February. Needed the money, it was all part of the master plan. Mazel tov! Took me a couple of weeks to finally get into the daily rhythm of juggling my everyday life with work life with personal life with my other life (the one where I cease to exist and time just passes by, this one is my favorite).

Fast forward 3 months, man, I got it. I fine tuned and well-oiled machinery performing efficiently 24 hours 7 days a week. Worked out a system where every other week or two I leave the state for a trip, have a blast, then come back on Monday feeling refreshed. Sounds perfect, right?

It was starting to take a toll on me. Days were getting shorter (but feeling longer and more tiresome), and I just wasn’t finding enough ‘me’ time to unwind and become a normal human.

“Man, I definitely need a break. It would be nice if I get some days off when I come back.”

Ask and you shall receive.

One of my clients is getting a surgery–> out for a week and a half or two —> but no side income.

Be careful what you wish for.

My other steady client got Covid—> out for 2 weeks —> No side income.

Stock market crashes, overleveraged, 2 long weekend trips done, 2 long weekend trips incoming, car maintenance, past accumulated bills, rent due in 2 weeks… EVERYTHING AT THE SAME TIME.

I mean, it’s not like I’m in ruins, but definitely cutting it WAY TOO CLOSE for comfort between these next 3 months. At least I’m gonna get ALL my summer trips done before July.

“Money,
Get away,
You get a good job with more pay and you’re okay,
Money,
It’s a gas,
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash”
