The train of thought left me at the station

I was about to start writing today’s post, and was interrupted suddenly. Had to pause this and turn my attention towards something else.

Tried to come back here, and nothing came out. My mind was a blank. It was like missing the exit at the interstate and not being able to get back on the correct route. So, I took a small break (or following this analogy, went to a rest stop).

I went over my third language notes’ for a few minutes, sent some work emails, went through a notification cycle on my social media… Still nothing.

Zero motivation. Completely drained creatively (and physically). So, not gonna force it. There’s no need.

To this day, I’ve already done over 300 posts. If there’s one thing I’ve learned is that it’s better to say nothing at all, than forcing something to say. Off days are part of the process.

But don’t worry, I’ll be back tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that, bye…
